2. Handout: Quotations (dealing with the themes of Innocence and Childhood)
--> Highlight the most important part/words of the quotation
--> Analyze quotations 1 and 2 (see examples of analysis in italics in the rest of the quotations)
--> Ensure you have 5 quotations (AND YOUR ANALYSIS OF THEM)
--> Continue working on paragraph

**Due to the difficulty of this assignment, you will have time in-class tomorrow as well to work on it. You should already have at least two quotations finished; the paragraph will be DUE at the end of TOMORROW'S class**

gentle, innocent, and perfect. For instance, in chapter sixteen, Holden describes the joy he feels when he helps a child tighten her skate. He thinks of "most kids" as "very nice (and) polite", unlike the adults around him that he mistrusts (p. 119).
