  • You may compare the story and film versions of one or both works
  • Reminders: Use quotes and paraphrasing as evidence (aim for three quotes from each work), ensure you properly incorporate quotes into your paragraphs and cite your sources (i.e. author, page number), you may use the films as a reference point, you may use other research outside of the stories and films as evidence
  • Aim for five paragraphs: an introduction, three body paragraphs, and a conclusion
  • Each paragraph needs a topic sentence, evidence, and a concluding sentence
  • Transitions help an essay flow! A list of helpful transitions
