The Catcher in the Rye
1. Hand in late essays. Return novels.
2. Review literary devices (quizzes coming in the next three weeks!).
3. Begin watching "Good Will Hunting." Compare and contrast the characters of Will from the film and Holden from CITR. Focus on personality traits, background, and how they change throughout the work (if applicable).
4. Next week: Short stories, poetry, Provincial Exam Prep.

2. Homework check/discuss 7.3 ("First Nations" quadrant). For each group, focus on their histories, relationship with government, with Canada, laws/acts, etc.

- Complete 7.3 quadrants.
- Complete 7.4 Changing Politics.
- Read/review: p. 265-280 (you have already read most of this last unit, so it should be largely review and helpful for completing your booklet assignments).
